D-I-Y Bed Tray : Chanel inspired

Steps

1. Place tape on the horizontal part of tray (inside surface).
2. Paint the vertical standing sides of tray gold (color of choice) inside and out.
3. Let dry. drying times vary with paint types. If I'm in a rush I blow-dry the surface.
4. Place tape along the vertical side of the tray.
5. Paint the inside flat surface all white (color of your choice) 2 coats.
6. Let dry. .
7. Place tape in stripes in the width that you'd like or just keep the size of the tape.
8. Paint whats not covered with the tape black(your color of choice) 2 coats.
9. Let dry. 
10. Cut out stencil and tape it on the flat surface of the tray in the center.
11. Use paint brush or sponge to fill in stencil using gold paint. Being careful not to spread paint in unwanted areas. Use 2 coats. In the event that you do get paint in an unwanted space; just paint over it with your background color.
12. Let this dry and your project is complete.
